Action learning program

Posted by fidest press agency su giovedì, 24 giugno 2010

London. Even before receiving their MBA degrees, students at Hult International Business School must showcase their hard-earned strategic mettle. Hult’s Action Learning Program (ALP), a real-world management exercise offered at the conclusion of the Hult MBA experience, lets students flex their management muscle by providing blue-chip corporations with practical solutions to existing problems. Duracell, Xerox, Pfizer, and the Financial Times are among the companies participating in this year’s ALP, which will take place on Hult’s campuses in Boston, London, and Dubai. ALP teams—consisting of four to six students—compete to provide clients with innovative solutions and ideas for growth. At the conclusion of the project, each student team presents a proposal for action to representatives of the client organization. The ALP, which was launched in 1964 and has been identified by Forbes as “highly distinctive” and in the top five MBA programs in the United States, has drawn many industry leaders in the past, including IBM, Sylvania, and Sherwin Williams. The solutions presented to these companies, created under the guidance of a Hult faculty advisor, oftentimes resonate long after the participating students graduate from Hult.
Hult International Business School (formerly known as the Arthur D. Little School of Management) is the first global business school with operations in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai. The school offers a range of business-focused programs including MBA, Masters, and Undergraduate degrees. Hult is ranked 5th for International Mobility and 6th for International Business by the Financial Times, and is among the Top 50 best business schools in the world and Top 25 in the U.S. by the Economist. The school is a fully accredited member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of MBAs.
