Statement by Martin SCHULZ, EP President on the situation in Greece following the Referendum

Posted by fidest press agency su lunedì, 6 luglio 2015

Martin-schulz“The ‘no’ side has won the referendum with an overwhelming majority and we have to respect the vote of the Greek people. In full sovereignty they expressed a clear ‘no’ to the proposals on the table in the eurozone. This is a difficult day: there’s a broad majority in Greece and the promise of Prime Minister Tsipras to the Greek people that with the ‘no’ the position of Greece for negotiating a better deal would become better is, in my eyes, not true…
“…We are in a difficult situation, the Greek people said no, but eighteen other states of the eurozone agreed about the proposals to which the Greek people said ‘no’. But this is democracy in Greece and democratic governments and parliaments in other countries had another view a different view. It is now up to the Greek government to make proposals which could convince the eighteen other member states of the eurozone and the institutions in Brussels that it is necessary, possible and even effective to renegotiate, but this depends now on the proposals coming from Greece…”
.. But, nevertheless we have to respect the sovereignty and the will that the greek people expressed today in the referendum. The promise of the minister of finance that the banks will open tomorrow and that money will be available for tomorrow and Tuesday seems to me very difficult and dangerous. And, therefore, because I believe that the Greek people will be, during the week and even every day in a more difficult situation, I think we should tomorrow, at the latest on Tuesday for the eurozone summit discuss about a humanitarian aid programme for Greece…”
“…Ordinary citizens, pensioners, sick people or children in the kindergarten should not pay a price for the dramatic situation in which the country and the government brought the country now. Therefore a humanitarian programme is needed immediately and I hope that the Greek government will make in the next coming hours meaningful and constructive proposals allowing that it is meaningful and possible te renegotiate. If not, we are entering a very difficult and even dramatic time.”

Posted by fidest press agency su lunedì, 6 luglio 2015

Whisper of the rainWhisper of the rain. This is the title of the new album by Alessio Miraglia. The talented composer is just publish an intense concept album. Recorded in Los Angeles, the album was produced and mixed by Tim Starnes (Lord of the Rings, Avatar, King Kong etc).”The album is divided into five parts and each part is chronologically the path taken by the story. The album is a real “Soundtrack” of the movie that the author wrote and directed in his head. It ’s a delicate reminder of a young black boy, who became, with the passing of the years, an old homeless man, abandoned by society. It ’s a journey through the memories, life, dramas and dreams of a man destined from the outset to remain on the sidelines of the ‘American Dream’.” The covers of this album are two amazing works by the talented Italian photographer Irene Fittipaldi.

Wiesberger returns to winning ways

Posted by fidest press agency su lunedì, 6 luglio 2015

Bernd WIESBERGERBernd Wiesberger captured his third European Tour title with a commanding performance in the Alstom Open de France. France’s Victor Dubuisson had a disappointing final round of 68 and finished in a tie for twelfth, while Michaël Lorenzo-Vera carded a three-under par 68 and ended as the top Frenchman in sixth position.Three behind overnight leader Jaco Van Zyl at the start of the day, Wiesberger burst into life after lightning briefly delayed the final round. The 29 year old Austrian made four birdies in succession from the fourth, before nearly holing his approach to the ninth and tapping in for another gain to turn in 31.With the chasing pack unable to reel him in over Le Golf National’s notoriously tough back nine, eight straight pars kept Wiesberger in control before he finished things in style with a birdie from 15 feet on the last. That gave him a closing round of 65, a 13 under total, and a three shot winning margin over James Morrison. It also provided a first visit to the winner’s circle since capturing two titles in 2012, and with a €500,000 cheque for first place the biggest pay day of his European Tour career.Victory caps a sparkling run of form that saw Wiesberger come sixth, third, fourth and second in his first four events of the season, before adding another runner-up finish in Ireland. “It’s been a great first half of the year for me so far,” he said. “I’ve had a lot of great success but just couldn’t pull it quite off. To stand here with the trophy right now, it’s pretty sweet. I just hit a great shot down the fourth before the horns were blowing and they took us off the course. I liked my yardage, and had a good shot in there and had some momentum building, chipped in, holed a long putt.”Morrison dropped only one shot over the last three rounds, but the Open de España winner could not keep up with his playing partner’s remarkable scoring – although a bold tee shot to the 16th and a fourth birdie of the day from six feet did set up a tense finish. A final round 67 gave him outright second on ten under par, and the considerable consolation of one of three places in The Open Championship at St Andrews in two weeks’ time. “My game is improving every day; I’m doing all the right things,” said the 30 year old Morrison. “Bernd played too perfectly today. He won the golf tournament, it’s as simple as that. He played fantastic.”Van Zyl and Rafa Cabrera-Bello claimed the other spots after finishing third and fifth respectively, with Kaymer sandwiched between the pair on seven under after finding water on the last and running up a double bogey.
On the French side Victor Dubuisson had a disappointing four-over par 75 and had to settle for a share of twelfth place. “It’s a big disappointment obviously. No matter what place I finish, I had a goal and I didn’t achieve it”, the 25-year-old said. The honors among local players went to Michaël Lorenzo-Vera, who carded a superb three-under par 68 to finish in a tie for sixth. “I’m very proud of this result. I didn’t think I was able to play that good on this course for, so far, I never managed to make the cut. I want to thank the fans who gave me an extraordinary support. Those are very strong emotions. I had never felt that before”, the 30-year-old player from the Basque country said. (photo: Bernd WIESBERGER)

Per le donne con tumore al seno

Posted by fidest press agency su lunedì, 6 luglio 2015
