How to sign off an email

Those of us in full-time jobs spend a large portion of our waking hours either at work or thinking about it—what to say at this morning’s meeting, how to hit tomorrow’s deadline, how much of our days are simply wasted. As a friendly guide to the ups, downs, fads and fashions of working life, our weekly Bartleby columnist is hard to beat. So I’d like to recommend a selection of Bartleby’s sagest advice from 2022. He’s told us why, despite the pandemic-induced flight from the office, we can’t work just anywhere; why you should never bring your “whole self” to work; and why the part you do bring needn’t be perfect.
