La Pietra di Apricena impreziosisce Doha e gli Emirati

At the ISPE annual meeting today, Pharmatech Associates introduced Pharmatech Associates International Contracting and Services, LLC (PAICS), a new company with headquarters in Doha, Qatar. Qatari cyber security students win the first CyQ hackathon held in Doha

qatari-cyber-securityDoha, Qatar – Given the Qatar National Cyber Security Strategy had stressed the importance of developing local cyber security talent, multinational business facilitator Naseba hosted a fun and engaging youth empowerment program named CyQ during the 2nd day of the 9th Cyber Defence Summit that concluded today in Doha.This is the first time in the history of the summit that a youth-oriented cyber security track was included as one full day of the agenda. Over 100 post-graduate and graduate students from Hamad bin Khalifa University, Qatar University, College of North Atlantic and more witnessed a series of security talks and live hacking demonstrations at the Westin Hotel in Doha. test their skills in a variety of “white hat” hacking areas, including cryptography, malware detection and digital forensics. Participants collaborated, co-innovated and competed to win a range of prizes, including advanced training programs, high-level internships and cyber security mentorship.The opening talk was delivered by Dr. Maher Hakim, Managing Director of Qatar Science and Technology Park, followed by a talk by the CEO of ITS2 Eng Ahmad Al Khiary. Alkhiary noted ” Naveen Bharadwaj, Production Manager at Naseba commented “The digital natives and millennials will soon be taking over the responsibility of ensuring that the country’s critical infrastructure, network and sensitive data are protected from cyber attacks. Naseba is glad to support Qatar’s development of the future talent and fight against cyber crimes.” Dana Al-Abdulla, Head of the Cyber Security Resiliency Section, Q-CERT at Ministry of Transport and Communications, noted “The global cyber security talent shortage is shaping up to be one of the greatest challenges of our time, and it is encouraging to see so many young people in Qatar who are willing to step up to fill this gap and join the ranks of the experts and specialists whose job it is to ensure that our nation’s critical data and sensitive information is kept safe.” The day’s agenda included a series of youth talks, a 360° talk show focused on coping with the digital natives and aligning today’s ecosystem to build a secure tomorrow, and pep talks where young contributors focused on local innovations and practical ways to achieve excellence in cyber security.Eng. Ahmad Alkhiary, Chief Executive Officer of IT Security Training & Solutions (ITS2), said “In this day and age, it’s truly never too soon to develop an interest in IT and information security. Training our youth to become familiar with the cyber threat landscape, and providing them with the skills and tools required to mitigate those threats, should be a focus for the entire IT industry. Now more than ever, we need the IT specialists of tomorrow to be trained in not only hard technical skills, but in critical thinking and creative, cooperative problem-solving.”The latter half of the day was dedicated entirely to CyQ’s cyber security challenge, where young participants competed to complete secure programming tasks and hackathons. Deux objectifs économiques prévalent : chercher un second souffle économique pour sortir de la crise et contourner l’obstacle du blocage des négociations multilatérales de Doha. L’enjeu central concerne les barrières non tarifaires, essentiellement règlementaires.Avant de s’interroger sur les contours de la négociation à venir, ce Policy paper plante le décor en dressant un état des lieux des principaux enjeux. Il porte ensuite quelques appréciations critiques sur les perspectives ouvertes par le partenariat, pour conclure sous forme de scénarios et de recommandations.

(Doha, Qatar): Doha GOALS, the world’s leading platform focusing on sport as a driver of social and economic change, will host a Ministers of Sport Summit for the first time this year. The Summit will be held on the first day of the global Forum, which will be held on December 9-11 at the Aspire Academy in Doha.Doha GOALS, a call to action for policymakers, NGOs, corporations and athletes alike, will be held under the high patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar. The Ministers of Sport Summit will address the theme “Integrity in Sport”, focusing on the promotion of fairness and equality in sport.H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Mubarak Al Thani, Executive Director of Doha GOALS, said: “The diverse group of people – as speakers, partners, participants, students, and community members – creates a unique forum for this initiative. By bringing together this cross-section of interested parties, from heads of government through to federations and NGOs, we have the opportunity to have real dialogue and bring about real change.” Sport is increasingly a major area of focus for some of the world’s biggest brands, for whom sport is now an integral part of their marketing and communications agenda. Executive producer Richard Attias said: “Rather than acting as a conference – where ideas are traded but rarely enacted – Doha GOALS is an initiative with the express intent of empowering stakeholders to create a roadmap for social improvement through sport, and launch cross-border initiatives.Following the first edition of Doha GOALS, a number of initiatives were selected for feasibility studies and will be launched in the run-up to this year’s Forum.Among the many sporting champions already confirmed as speakers for this year’s Forum are:

Si e’ aperto oggi a Doha in Qatar il V Forum Al Jazeera sul tema del cambiamento del mondo dei media tra futuro ed evoluzione tecnologica a cui partecipa Puntoit, Associazione italiana che promuove lo sviluppo dell’economia digitale e creativa. Mentre il panorama politico e sociale del Medio Oriente continua ad essere complesso, nel contesto di un mondo che cambia e diventa “multipolare”, vi è sempre più la necessità di capire il futuro, l’impatto ed i cambiamenti che i nuovi media ed il real-time web stanno producendo sul mondo dei media.”Il Forum Annuale di Al Jazeera a cui partecipano i maggiori esperti del settore – secondo l’Associazione Puntoit – e’ una occasione unica per esplorare il dinamismo di questi cambiamenti con il loro impatto sulla regione ed oltre, ed esaminare i modi in cui il mondo dei media, di internet, i cui contenuti viaggiano su reti tlc a banda larga ed ultra veloce, possa meglio riflettere su questi cambiamenti.
