XIV edizione del Master in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation

Il Master è rivolto a candidati in possesso di Diploma universitario o Laurea V.O., Laurea o Laurea Specialistica/Magistrale N.O. in Ingegneria, Architettura e Disegno Industriale.Alla fine del Master verrà rilasciato il titolo di Master Universitario di I livello del Politecnico di Milano; verranno inoltre rilasciati i certificati che attestano la partecipazione degli studenti al corso di Rhinoceros, riconosciuto dalla rispettiva casa madre del software McNeel.L’inizio delle lezioni è previsto per novembre 2020. I posti disponibili sono 25. I crediti formativi assegnati sono 60.Deadline chiusura iscrizioni: ottobre 2020. Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum

Floyd Distinguished Chair of Engineering, University of California, Berkeley, will deliver a keynote address at the 2019 Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum. The Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum, which takes place December 9-10, 2019 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA, is a conference and expo focused on easing, speeding and improving the design, development and manufacture of healthcare robotics products and services. Engineering Technology Award of Distinction from University of Cincinnati

Steve Kuhn, a founding member of Sevan Multi-Site Solutions and Executive Vice President, was presented with the 2019 Engineering Technology Award of Distinction of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences from the University of Cincinnati.
Along with the Executive Vice President role, Kuhn is also currently a member of Sevan’s Board of Directors. In his roles, he focuses on advancing Sevan’s Business Partner relationships. He also works to support the Co-Op student and University recruiting efforts and is assuming leadership of the Sevan Charitable Foundation. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.Kuhn’s family—including his wife, three sons and two daughters in law – joined him for the awards ceremony. Sevan team members also celebrated Steve’s accomplishment by cheering him on. Accenture Acquires Fairway Technologies to Bolster Product and Platform Engineering Services

PTC Extends Windchill PLM Platform by Integrating Requirements, Systems and Software Engineering Capabilities

Grant County Public Utility District Launches Accruent Engineering Information Management Solution

Accruent, the world’s leading provider of physical resource management solutions, announced today that Grant County Public Utility District, has launched Accruent’s engineering information management solution to manage its growth in the inventory of documents, including more than tens of thousands of engineering drawings.Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) was established in 1938 to provide power service to all county residents in the central part of Washington State. Today, Grant PUD serves approximately 40,000 customers and has the capacity to generate more than 2,100 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. Grant PUD’s Vision 2021 plan emphasizes data-based decision making – an approach to sustain the affordable rates and economic opportunity that locally-owned and controlled hydropower has brought to Grant County.“While Grant PUD is a mid-size utility, we have the needs of a much bigger utility,” said Susy Anderson, ECM Project Manager, Grant Public Utility District. “Implementing Accruent’s solution helps our teams to work collaboratively, complete assignments efficiently, and manage compliance with federal regulations.” Initially, three departments – Power Production Engineering; Transmission, Substation and Automation; and Telecommunications – will use the software. One of the key capabilities for Grant PUD was more security and control for their Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) documents. As a power company, they must follow the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards which are federal regulations related to the security of critical assets.

Giacomo Bugaro all’Imesa

Giacomo Bugaro, fino al giugno scorso vice presidente dell’Assemblea legislativa delle Marche, entra a far parte del Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’azienda di famiglia; a Bugaro sono state affidate le deleghe ai Rapporti istituzionali e Main clients e quella al Business development.Anconetano, 46 anni, proveniente da una storica famiglia del capoluogo nota per le sue attività commerciali, Giacomo Bugaro ha operato prevalentemente nel settore immobiliare e ha condotto sin da giovanissimo un’intensa attività politica: “Una nuova sfida – afferma Bugaro – si apre davanti a me. Terminato nel giugno scorso l’impegno politico, che mi ha visto presente nelle istituzioni in diversi ruoli per circa vent’anni, ho deciso di tornare al mondo dell’impresa.
