Il 16 e il 17 novembre arriva a Madrid il roadshow di Intermonte rivolto agli investitori europei. Analog Garage to Hold Event on Autonomous Driving’s Future

American Water CEO Susan Story Set to Participate in S&P Global ESG Evaluation Launch Event

EC’s “Business Beyond Borders” to hold 10th matchmaking event at VISION Stuttgart

The European Commission (EC)-funded initiative “Business Beyond Borders” (BBB) will hold its 10th business matchmaking event at VISION Stuttgart, 6-8 November, 2018.The event will mark the end of BBB’s first cycle, and will focus on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Clusters operating in the Machine Vision industry.By taking part in the BBB matchmaking sessions at VISION, visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet potential partners from all over the world, and seek out opportunities together.Ahead of the BBB matchmaking event at VISION, Barbara Weizsaecker, Secretary-General of the BBB consortium partner European Major Exhibition Centres Association (EMECA), said:

UiPath Heads to Singapore for First Event in Southeast Asia

Today, with the explosive growth of networked mobile devices, static networks that transmit data based on IP addresses are greatly restricting the development of application scenarios.Having researched the Future Internet technology for years, the core team of Blockcloud believes that a combination of Service-centric Networking (SCN) and blockchain technology will help build an open, dynamic, secure and efficient network underlying protocol system and will promote the development of the Future Internet technology. Based on SCN, the applications can directly connect to the service through service’s name, shield the application layer from the same level of the underlying IP address, and adaptively support the requirements of service matching, migration and mobility.However, the SCN network itself has credibility, fairness, and incentives problems. Blockchain technology solves the problem of trust and incentives in the service center network. Blockcloud proposes the Proof of Service (PoS) to reliably verify the authenticity of services in the network. Through the smart contract, a game-based Truthful Continuous Double Auction (TCDA) is designed to achieve fair pricing and matching of services, creating a point-to-point sharing economy model and providing incentives to service contributors. In addition, Blockcloud has developed a Compact Directed Acyclic Graph (CoDAG) that packs blocks faster, efficiently records transactions, and improves network performance. Blockcloud uses a loosed coupled hierarchical architecture design to build a network underlying protocol system with an approach similar to “building blocks”. Each layer works together and can self-evolve independently. Core members of the Blockcloud project come from top research institutions. Over 50% of them hold a Ph.D. The advisory board includes two IEEE Fellows, 5 National Distinguished Scientists and 15 professors. The Roswell Wine Festival Celebrates Its Fifth Sell-out Event

san carlos californiaThe Roswell Wine Festival was proud to commemorate its fifth year with a sell out event on Sunday, October 1st. Tickets for the highly sought-after festival sold out in only 12 days and included over 1,700 attendees who traveled from as far as California. The 2017 event featured over 250 wines from around the globe as well as approximately 75 local restaurant and business participants and over a dozen local artists and galleries.To celebrate its fifth year, attendees were greeted with swag bags that included wine-related gifts from festival sponsors. Platinum sponsors of the 2017 festival included: Hennessy Jaguar Land Rover North Point, Cruise Planners Michael Consoli and restaurant sponsors Osteria Mattone, Table & Main and Vin25. Because of the festival’s success, co-founders Dwight Cunningham and Peggy Robinson were invited to take part in the Southern California Food & Wine Radio Show. “We are so excited to see how the community has embraced the event,” states Dwight Cunningham, co-founder. “We had no idea when we got started it would be such a success.” Peggy Robinson, co-founder, added, “It is tremendously rewarding to have created a landmark event for the city that has long-lasting impact on the local community.”
