Beacon Roofing Supply Named to Fortune 500

Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN)(“Beacon” or the “Company”) announced today that it was named to the 2019 Fortune 500, published by Fortune Magazine in June of each year. This is Beacon’s debut appearance in the Fortune 500, where it ranked as No. 464 among all companies included in the survey.“Being named to the Fortune 500 is a significant milestone,” said Paul Isabella, Beacon’s President and CEO. “Our position as one of the 500 largest companies in the United States is a testament to our ability to execute our growth plans, both organically and as our industry’s leader in strategic acquisitions. The Fortune 500 ranks the 500 largest U.S. corporations by total revenue for their respective fiscal years. The 2019 list reflects annual results for the most recent fiscal year ending prior to January 31, 2019. According to Fortune, “Companies are ranked by total revenues for their respective fiscal years. Included in the survey are companies that are incorporated in the U.S. and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency. This includes private companies and cooperatives that file a 10-K or a comparable financial statement with a government agency, and mutual insurance companies that file with state regulators.”

Barclays Named To Fortune Magazine’s Change the World List For the First Time

Barclays has been named on Fortune Magazine’s 2018 Change the World List. The list recognizes companies that have had a positive social impact through activities that are part of their core business strategy.
