Orion Advisor Services, LLC (“Orion”), the premier portfolio accounting provider for registered investment advisors, is proud to empower the contest entrants of FUSE 2018’s “Tech’s Got Talent” with the rich data and open API architecture that are the hallmarks of the Orion platform. Celebrating collaboration among its integration partners, Orion’s inaugural Ascent/FUSE joint event, held Sept. 5-7, 2018 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, will be an unparalleled opportunity to foster innovation and propel the growth of Orion advisors.
An all-star panel of FUSE judges have chosen the top entrants for this year’s inaugural “Tech’s Got Talent” event, which challenges integration partners to implement ideas for improvements identified by Orion’s Advisory Board members and dream up their most game-changing innovations making use of the Orion platform. They will have the chance to bring these ideas to life in a marathon poolside coding session at a private waterfront villa. This year’s FUSE judges include Joel Bruckenstein of Technology Tools for Today; Ryan Beach, CEO of CLS Investments; Heather Fortner, CCO and COO of SignatureFD; Billy Oliverio, senior vice president and CMO of United Planners; Aaron Schaben, executive vice president of Carson Group; Spenser Segal, CEO of ActiFi; Shannon Spotswood, president of RFG Advisory; Min Zhang, head of Digital Products at United Capital; and Bill Winterberg, founder of FPPad. “Our advisors provided us with their integration priorities and we are excited to get them implemented,” said Brad Burgess, Orion’s chief technology officer. “We believe true innovation centers on listening to our advisors, collaborating with our partners, and transforming advisor-driven feedback into reality.”
