Posted by fidest press agency su domenica, 30 settembre 2018

American Airlines announced that it will begin nonstop flights to Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) starting February 16, 2019. The Central Florida airport is conveniently located in the heart of the tourism region and is the closest airport to NASA rocket launches, Port Canaveral’s cruises and what critics call “some of the most beautiful beaches Florida has to offer.”The flights will depart Saturdays from Philadelphia at 8:05 a.m., arriving in Florida at 10:48 a.m. The Embraer 175 jet arrival time syncs perfectly with cruise ship noon early boarding. Melbourne Airport Express offers nonstop shuttle service to the port, and all major rental car companies are onsite. The return flight to PHL departs at 11:24 a.m. and arrives in PHL at 1:55 p.m., with enough time to connect to some of American’s largest international destinations, including recently announced summer service to Dubrovnik, Croatia and Bologna, Italy.Considered a stress-free alternative, new way to travel, American Airlines’ passengers will enjoy all of Florida’s amenities and see why declared MLB the nation’s #1 scenic airport approach. Growing in popularity, MLB is just minutes away from 72 miles of sparkling beaches and Sebastian Inlet State Park, home to more than 100 endangered species, world class surfing and fishing, with the added attraction of a protected tide pool beach where children and manatees can be found sharing the warm ocean waters.“The more that sun-seeking families learn about our area, the more they seek nonstop service via MLB,” said Puneet (PK) Kapur, chairman of the Space Coast Office of Tourism. “We’re close to everywhere people want to go on their Florida family vacation.” MLB Airport Executive Director Greg Donovan, A.A.E. welcomes the expansion of flights from American Airlines and anticipates more flights to serve the more relaxed family-friendly atmosphere found via MLB. “The drive to Disney and Universal seems shorter after a day on the beach.”

Video seeks to bring sacred words to masses

Posted by fidest press agency su giovedì, 15 giugno 2017

NathanielMELBOURNE, Australia — Released last Friday, a new music video features Australian popular singer and performer Nathaniel Willemse singing a prayer by Baha’u’llah. The song, titled “Power Over All Things,” was composed this year in honor of the two hundred year anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah, which is being commemorated in October. Inspired by the hopeful vision in the Baha’i writings, the song is one of countless musical expressions unfolding across the planet in this momentous year, ranging from grassroots initiatives to national and international projects undertaken by professional artists.Nathaniel, who is familiar with the Baha’i teachings, is originally from South Africa but rose to success as a pop singer in Australia. He chose this project because he felt connected to the beauty of the words in the prayer and the relevance of its message for the world today.“I feel that this is a very powerful prayer for aid and assistance,” he said, “and in this much sensitive time around the world we really need more of these powerful words available.” The song was DSC_0196composed by musical producer and songwriter Anise K., whose belief in the power of music to touch the human heart and to inspire has been largely influenced by the Baha’i Faith.
As the idea for the video was forming, Anise K. explained that he and Nathaniel consulted about capturing the right tone. In developing the concept, Anise K. wanted it to be filmed in nature, evoking Baha’u’llah’s love for nature and his retreat into the wilderness for two years of His life.Regarding the selection of the lyrics for the song, a prayer was selected which was revealed by Baha’u’llah in a tablet to Queen Victoria in 1868:”O my God! I ask Thee, by Thy most glorious Name, to aid me in that which will cause the affairs of Thy servants to prosper, and Thy cities to flourish. Thou, indeed, hast power over all things!”In that well-known message, Baha’u’llah emphasized the unity of the human race and praised Queen Victoria for abolishing slavery and for entrusting to representatives of the people the powers of government.Reflecting on the project and its aspirations, Nathaniel explained: “I hope that this will be a prayer that will uplift people and bring them together.” (photo: Nathaniel)

Posted by fidest press agency su martedì, 31 gennaio 2017

melbourneMelbourne, Australia.

Roa diary

ROA. Melbourne. November, 2012. (photo © ROA)I felt an intimacy with them…bordering on frenzy [that] must accompany my steps through life,” said the celebrated John James Audubon, the French-American naturalist and painter more than 200 years ago of his deep love for birds that began as a teenager and lead to his illustrations of the still revered book The Birds of America. By now we may consider the Belgian artist named ROA to be an Audubon of the Streets, so committed he is to documenting by hand and sharing with the public his studies of the animal world on walls, especially those that are often overlooked or dismissed as pests. As we have tracked the aerosol orinthologist and urban naturalist for you during his travels of the last few years, his dedication to showcasing the oft-marginalized creatures of towns, cities, and regions around the world has not waned. Like Audubon, his depictions have become progressively more accurate in detail and now give a greater sense of mass, texture, and the presence of the subject.(ROA. Melbourne. November, 2012. Australia: Attività patronato

Posted by fidest press agency su martedì, 2 luglio 2013
