Tycoon Global planned to establish 6 villas on this block of land, and each villa includes 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets and 2 garages. It is located in the bustling Upper East Side in Melbourne and with the good natural conditions, which has become one of the best areas in Melbourne. As real estate is the key to developing business hub in the State of Victoria, Australian Government has already invested 600 million Australian dollars for upgrading the living facilities in this area since 2016.The real estate project is adjacent to the largest shopping centre, Eastland Shopping Centre in the East Area of Melbourne. A total of 350 stores offering everything from luxury goods to daily home products are located in this shopping centre, and moreover, the people here can enjoy the foods from all over the world. In addition to that, this shopping centre is rapidly expanding, which is also an interesting proposition for all the potential investors setting their eyes on the adjacent real estate plot. The owners of dwelling units in this area would also have access to lots of high-quality educational institutes, including primary schools and middle schools, such as Eastwood School, which is only 280m from the project area, and Tintern School, which is only 680m from the project area. The real estate project also boasts of very convenient transportation options, as the closest urban rail transit station is at only 12 minutes of walking distance, and the entrance of M3 eastern expressway is only 1,200m from the project area. The ambitious real estate project is already in high demand due to multiple advantages. According to the REA 2018 statistical data of the largest real estate data company in Australia, the average demand of the real properties on this plot has 220% of the average demand in the State of Victoria.Dr. Zhong Jian, CEO of Tycoon Global, showed that this project was planned to be launched in June 2019 and the sale will officially begin in July. Each individual villa will be priced at around US $750,000, which makes these some of the most exclusive and valuable properties in Victoria for self-occupation and investment. Besides, this project accepts payment of TCT (Tycoon Chain Token). This also reflects the Tycoon Global principle of landing first and zoology second. Tycoon Global will keep conducting real estate development and reforming the traditional real estate industry chain with blockchain technology based on the excellent profitability. “Sustainable profitability is the basis for us to embrace the new technology to update the industry chain of real estate, and it also makes us different from other blockchain companies.” said Dr. Zhong.

Green Climate Fund approves new projects, new director

Posted by fidest press agency su domenica, 10 marzo 2019

The Green Climate Fund has approved US$440 million in financing for nine projects around the world, and appointed a new executive director, Yannick Glemarec, as the institution works to distance itself from internal disputes that led the fund’s previous head to resign. The GCF was established in 2010 as a mechanism to bring together developed and developing countries to fund climate adaptation and emissions reductions projects. So far countries have pledged US$10.3 billion in funding, and the fund has committed US$5 billion across more than 100 projects.A further pledging conference is due to take place later this year, and the fund has been under pressure to demonstrate its value and its ability to disburse money. Last July, the GCF’s executive director, Howard Bamsey, quit after the fund’s board failed to approve any of a slate of US$1 billion worth of projects that were up for review. Bamsey’s resignation deepened the sense of crisis around the GCF, which had already been the target of attacks from the Trump administration.Barack Obama’s administration pledged US$3 billion to the fund, but his successor reneged on the promise with US$2 billion still outstanding. The GCF has tried to improve the flow of projects by creating a new, simplified funding process. Two of the nine projects approved in February came through this new mechanism—both of them climate resilience initiatives. Among the approved projects are a US$100 million solar power programme in Nigeria and a US$96.5 million forestry scheme in Brazil.“GCF now has a US$5 billion portfolio in 97 countries supporting low-emission, climate-resilient development,” Javier Manzanares, the interim executive director, said. “With decisions to ensure better governance, new project approvals, and a reinforced readiness programme, this board meeting has left us in great shape for our first replenishment.” Glemarec is a veteran of the development sector, having served as UN Assistant Secretary-General and deputy executive director for policy and programme at UN Women until last year, as well as being the UN Development Programme’s executive coordinator for the Global Environment Facility between 2007 and 2012.

Project Based Learning Allows School to Become the Real World

Posted by fidest press agency su domenica, 9 dicembre 2018

By David Wine. According to many experts, school must be more relevant if kids are to thrive in the fourth industrial revolution, and research indicates that students exposed to project based learning (PBL) are making significantly greater academic gains than students taught with traditional approaches. As students gain deeper knowledge about their work via PBL, they also learn real-world skills that will be invaluable to them for the rest of their lives. Thanks to real world challenges such as the United Nations’ SDG’s, project based learning is currently enjoying a revival. In this style of learning, students must address a problem that’s impacting their local or global community. The PBL process teaches students how to organize and present their thinking in a limited amount of time. Students have to collaborate with other classmates to find solutions and then present their findings to a group. All the skills involved in the work are critical for today’s world. C. M. Rubin, Founder of CMRubinWorld, asked top global teachers to share their examples of high quality PBL programs. Educator Marjo Rantanen in Finland describes an EU program in which students improved their “entrepreneurial skills” and learned to “evaluate peer work and team work results.” Prerna Kumar in India explains her students worked longer and harder and described their experience as “joyful, authentic, powerful and resourceful.” Koen Timmers, who currently has students across 6 continents researching and brainstorming 4 climate change challenges, notes: “I believe in changing people’s mindsets via education.”

Posted by fidest press agency su giovedì, 21 settembre 2017

Posted by fidest press agency su lunedì, 5 dicembre 2016

Female refugeesAs increasing numbers of people are seeking refuge in Europe, a new project aims to promote the rights of refugees to speak on their own behalf, to assess their portrayal in the media and uphold good journalistic practices, and to raise the visibility of refugee voices and networks.
Launched on 1 December by the World Association for Christian Communication – Europe (WACC Europe) and the Churches’ Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME), the project will:
assess media portrayal and representation of refugees in at least five European countries, including countries of first entry, transit and final country granting asylum; engage with media professionals to highlight good practices; and develop action plans to promote the rights of refugees to communicate on their own behalf. The project will last for 12 months and builds on the media monitoring methodology of the World Association for Christian Communication, already used to good effect to track gender media representation and portrayal.More information about the project can be found on a special website: http://www.refugeesreporting.eu
The project will also contribute to the “Safe Passage” project of CCME which seeks to respond to the dramatic migration and refugee routes in the Mediterranean, primarily through the sharing of stories by refugees and as a support for advocacy.
Funding for the project is coming from the Otto per Mille fund (OPM) of the Waldensian Church in Italy, as well as the Churches’ Commission for Migrants in Europe, the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland (Germany), and the World Council of Churches, with additional support from the Conference of European Churches and the World Association for Christian Communication.Stephen Brown, president of WACC Europe, said: “Media in Europe play a key role in how refugees are currently perceived in our various countries. We want to highlight ways in which media promote the rights of refugees to speak on their own behalf, and to uphold journalistic practices that challenge fears and disinformation.”WACC Europe is the European regional association of the World Association for Christian Communication (www.waccglobal.org), which builds on communication rights in order to promote social justice, supporting people of all faiths, ethnicities, and cultures worldwide. WACC has individual and corporate members in 120 countries worldwide. WACC’s UK office is facilitating the support from OPM.The Churches’ Commission for Migrants in Europe (www.ccme.be) is the ecumenical agency on migration and integration, asylum and refugees, and against racism and discrimination in Europe. Members are Anglican, Orthodox and Protestant Churches and Councils of Churches as well as church-related agencies in presently 18 European countries.
