Catherine and her team will continue to lead all of the company’s HR, payroll, internal communications, responsible business and culture functions, and Catherine continues to serve on CWT’s Executive Leadership Team.
· John Pelant continues as Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for identifying and delivering on the company’s technology operations and investments. John and his team of talented professionals will continue to drive industry leading technologies, services, and solutions. John continues to serve on CWT’s Executive Leadership Team.
· The newly formed Strategy, Planning & Analytics group is headed up by Julia Kou and has responsibility for ensuring our investments and priorities are continuously aligned with CWT’s strategic plan, and oversees the company’s corporate planning, pricing and profitability functions.
Courtney Mattson is appointed Global Treasurer and Deputy CFO, and ensures that CWT continues to deliver on effective balance sheet and financial operations management, to maintain a strong financial foundation for meeting our commitments to our customers and suppliers.

Lo studio legale bresciano eletto miglior team dell’anno Under 40

Lo studio legale Puccio – Penalisti Associati, fondato dall’avvocato bresciano Andrea Puccio è stato eletto miglior “team dell’anno” alla prima edizione dei Legalcommunity Forty Under 40 Italy Awards, il premio che celebra le eccellenze professionali (team e singoli professionisti) con meno di 40 anni di età. Il team di studenti milanesi vincitore della finale di The Schools Challenge

Si è conclusa attraverso una finale interamente virtuale, la terza edizione italiana di The Schools Challenge che ha visto oltre 50 ragazzi del territorio milanese sfidarsi su tematiche di mobilità urbana e riciclo dei rifiuti negli ambienti scolastici.Un’inedita finale che è riuscita a trasportare sul digitale l’entusiasmo e la determinazione dei ragazzi che hanno presentato i propri progetti, misurandosi sia con problematiche legate al proprio territorio, ma anche con il lavoro di team e l’esposizione tramite nuovi canali. Un’occasione che ha, inoltre, permesso loro di sviluppare competenze STEM e digitali, ancora più utili nell’attuale situazione di emergenza e in vista di una futura riapertura delle scuole che probabilmente prevedrà una didattica mista.The Schools Challenge è un’iniziativa di PCTO (ex Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro) riconosciuta dal MIUR, realizzata a livello internazionale da J.P. Morgan e sviluppata nel nostro Paese da Junior Achievement Italia in collaborazione con Luiss Hub, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini e con il patrocinio del Comune di Milano. Oggi, nella sfida finale, la giuria di esperti, composta da professionisti di J.P. Morgan, Junior Achievement Italia e AMSA, ha decretato la vittoria del team Helmate della 3° F indirizzo Scienze Umane Economiche e Sociali del Liceo Tenca che ha ideato un sistema di sicurezza per ciclisti e utenti di trasporto leggero: una retìna da posizionare sul casco che ingloba luci di posizione e frecce segnaletiche che aumentano la visibilità di chi la indossa. La retìna è dotata di un dispositivo collegato ad una applicazione in grado di rilevare eventuali cadute e mandare un messaggio ai contatti prestabiliti con il link della posizione e, in caso di emergenza, chiamare i soccorsi. Gli studenti del team Helmate riceveranno degli iPad da utilizzare per le proprie attività scolastiche e portare avanti l’idea imprenditoriale proposta.
Fino alla chiusura delle scuole, gli studenti hanno alternato momenti in aula con i tutor di Junior Achievement Italia e i mentor di J.P. Morgan con incontri laboratoriali presso il Luiss HUB – dove hanno potuto toccare con mano le nuove tecnologie – e presso gli uffici di J.P. Morgan, per una sessione dedicata al Business Model Canvas guidati dai manager della società. Successivamente al lockdown, supportati da webinar e incontri digitali con i propri mentor, gli studenti hanno portato a termine con successo i propri progetti, sperimentando e applicando le conoscenze digitali maturate durante il percorso. Questo ha permesso loro di sviluppare competenze STEM, sempre più richieste dalle aziende e quindi fondamentali al futuro inserimento nel mondo del lavoro. Nel corso della giornata è stato inoltre assegnato il premio Miglior Prototipo al team Ecowave della 3° A indirizzo meccanico-meccatronico dell’Istituto Torricelli che ha creato un cestino interattivo utile a riciclare bottiglie di plastica che, una volta raccolte, saranno trasformate in tessuto pile. Il tessuto sarà utilizzato per creare delle felpe con il logo della scuola. Il cestino prevede una divisione tra bottiglie e tappi e la vendita di quest’ultimi sarà una delle risorse utilizzata per finanziare il progetto. Il team riceverà un kit Arduino, ideale per realizzare progetti di elettronica, programmazione e robotica.L’iniziativa The Schools Challenge è presente sulla piattaforma STEMintheCity, promossa dal Comune di Milano, un progetto digitale, aperto e inclusivo che raccoglie tutte le iniziative volte a promuovere competenze STEM.

Executive Leadership Team Changes

CWT, the B2B4E travel management platform, today announces the following changes within its Executive Leadership Team (ELT) – Michelle McKinney Frymire is named Chief Finance & Strategy Officer, and Patrick Andersen is named Chief Commercial Officer and President of RoomIt. The changes are prompted by the planned departure from the company of David Falter, formerly President of RoomIt by CWT, all three effective 1 May 2020. New board members are volunteer professionals and were elected at the annual meeting. A powerhouse in the education reform movement has joined K12 Inc., the nation’s leading provider of online curriculum and school programs for students in kindergarten through high school. Dr. Charles A. “Tony” Bennett—who has more than three decades of experience in school management, strategic planning, and operations—has been named Senior Vice President, Academics and External Relations. As one of the nation’s foremost experts in education policy, he will manage and implement a diverse portfolio of initiatives and programs that support, measure, track and ultimately improve student academic achievement and growth across K12-powered schools.Dr. Bennett began his career as a high school science teacher and rapidly ascended to leadership roles in two of the country’s pioneering education reform states: Florida and Indiana. He served as Commissioner of Education in Florida before starting TBX2, Inc./Education Reform Strategies, a consulting company that focuses on supporting education reform across the country.Prior to TBX2, Inc., Dr. Bennett served as State Superintendent in Indiana. Global Credit Specialist CIFC Completes Initial UK Research Team Hires

Global credit specialist CIFC, which launched a European office in London last year, has completed the first phase of its UK research team recruitment with the appointment of its fourth analyst.Senior Analyst Rinse Terpstra has joined from Chenavari Investment Managers where he worked as a senior investment analyst focusing on CLOs. He has more than 12 years of leveraged loan and high yield credit experience in Western and Central Eastern Europe as well as Turkey.Analyst Zoltan Paller has joined from UBS where he focused on leveraged finance and direct lending opportunities in the EMEA region. Prior to UBS, he held positions in the Corporate Credit team of Morgan Stanley in Budapest and Fitch in London.
Analyst Max Elliott-Taylor has joined from Investcorp Credit Management in London where he was an associate in the credit research team investing in leveraged loans and high yield bonds for five years.Analyst Alessandro Garello Cantoni has joined from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked for five years focusing on Italian and Iberian markets and later leveraged finance origination in the EMEA region.Their hires follow the recruitment last year of Managing Directors Joshua Hughes and Dan Robinson to open the London office and start building out the team.

Sublime Expands US Team and Announces New Chief Operating Officer

BankFLORIDA Adds Key Members to Leadership Team

BankFlorida, recently announced the addition of John Mede as Vice President of Retail Development and Debbie L. Kohl, CPA as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
Mede is a seasoned banker with more than 20 years of financial industry experience in Southeast Florida. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing and growing the bank’s new office in Jupiter, Fla. BankFlorida will relocate from its current location in Palm Beach Gardens to the newly renovated Jupiter office on April 15th of this year.

Loomis Sayles Announces Changes to Global Fixed Income Team Leadership

Loomis, Sayles & Company, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, announced today that Kenneth Buntrock, portfolio manager and co-team leader of the global fixed income team, will retire in March 2019 after 21 years with the company. In preparation for Ken’s retirement, longstanding portfolio managers Lynda Schweitzer and Scott Service will assume leadership roles effective immediately, joining David Rolley as co-team leaders. Carolon Capital Appoints Daniel Khan to its European Fund Sales Team
