Climate TechnologyA newly-built hall of the Nifco factory, located in the Walbrzych Economic Zone, has been equipped with high-tech Mark Klimat AHUs. These air handling units have several options for a wide variety of applications. From a simple air intake unit to a fully automatically-controlled air handling unit suitable for both indoor or outdoor use. This makes the Mark Klimat a highly developed, premium quality product that can be adjusted to the customer’s requirements. The order for the Nifco factory contained four 35-25 Klimat units for the use of ventilation, heating, cooling and heat recovery. They are equipped with high-efficiency heating modules Mark G+, with an air displacement up to 30.000 m3/h. The built-in heat recovery system can help reduce costs while also protecting the environment. Mark air handling units are made from seawater-resistant aluminum panels with double-walled insulation as standard. This means a lower weight and a longer lifespan. A modular construction of the unit makes it easy to mount and maintain. Due to the plug & play option the AHU will be able to start immediately.
Founded in 1967, the Japanese Nifco Inc. has 37 factories in Asia, Europe and North America. It was the first company to replace metal with plastic in the production of clamps, rivets and rings. Since 2007 the company has been investing in a production plant in Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone in Świdnica and has been granted four more business building permits. The project will be realized by the Japanese construction company Takenaka that has built 29 production halls in the Lower and Upper Silesia regions so far. The cost of the third stage, mounting the air handling units, will amount to 15 million euro. 180 people will find employment in the newly built halls. They’ll be engaged in the production of air ducts and storages of cars, mainly for Porsche and Volkswagen.
Since 1945 Mark Climate Technology (www.markclimate.com) has been manufacturer of climate control equipment: air heating, radiant heating, ventilation equipment and air handling units. Mark is based in Veendam (the Netherlands) and, together with branches in Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Poland and Romania, serves the whole of Europe.
